About the Firm
Join a top-tier international law firm with a strong global footprint, spanning 45+ offices across North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. The firm is renowned for its deep sector knowledge and cross-border litigation capabilities. Its Cyber & Data Privacy team plays a pivotal role in helping clients navigate cutting-edge issues at the intersection of technology, privacy, and law—including complex class actions, regulatory enforcement, and cybersecurity-related disputes.

Position Overview
We are seeking a litigation associate with 2–6 years of experience to join our Cyber & Privacy Litigation team. This fully remote role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to work on high-impact cases involving data breaches, privacy class actions, and technology-related disputes.

Applicants must have federal litigation experience and a strong background in written advocacy, discovery, and client communications. Experience in cyber and data privacy matters—whether in private practice or in-house—is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in federal and state litigation arising out of data breaches, privacy violations, and cyber events.

  • Handle all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery requests/responses.

  • Support oral advocacy, including preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials.

  • Coordinate with technical experts, forensic consultants, and internal incident response counsel to build and execute litigation strategies.

  • Advise clients on litigation risk associated with data incidents and evolving regulatory frameworks (e.g., CCPA, BIPA, GDPR, and HIPAA).

  • Collaborate with a global team of attorneys on cross-border privacy and cyber matters.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

  • 2–6 years of litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on federal court matters.

  • Demonstrated experience handling privacy-related litigation (CCPA, BIPA, wiretap claims, etc.) or data breach class actions is a plus.

  • Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.

  • Proven ability to manage cases and deadlines in a remote or hybrid work setting.

  • Technical fluency or experience collaborating with forensic experts is advantageous.

Why Join Us?

  • Fully remote role with high-profile, complex federal litigation exposure.

  • Work with a globally integrated legal team, including cybersecurity, regulatory, and litigation professionals.

  • Competitive compensation and a strong benefits package.

  • Opportunity to develop deep subject-matter expertise in one of the most rapidly evolving areas of law.

  • Join a team that values innovation, client service, and thought leadership in cyber and privacy litigation.
