Job summary

Duke University Health System seeks a professional to manage executive and leadership compensation programs, market benchmarking, governance, and special pay policies. You will prepare analyses, board materials, and reports to support compensation decisions and compliance.

The role partners with HR leaders to administer special pay programs, performance management, and total rewards initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Strong analytical and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Business Admin or related field required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • 4–5 years of related HR/compensation experience; experience in exec/leadership compensation preferred.
  • Experience in academic medical centers or health systems strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer executive and leadership compensation programs, governance, and special pay policies.
  • Prepare analyses, market data, board materials, and reports for compensation decisions.
  • Support performance management, pay-for-performance, and total rewards initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR leaders, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll on compensation processes.
