Job summary

Superior Energy Services is seeking an Executive Compensation Analyst to join our Houston, TX team. The role focuses on analyzing and administering executive pay programs, including base salary, incentives, and equity awards, while supporting governance and reporting to leadership and the Board.

The successful candidate will manage incentive plans, escalate data-driven insights, and collaborate with Finance, Legal, and external administrators to ensure accurate plan administration and regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive compensation experience, including executive compensation support.
• Experience with executive incentive plans, equity compensation, and compensation analytics.
• Experience supporting publicly traded companies, private equity-backed organizations, Compensation Committees, and/or executive leadership teams.
• Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and administer executive compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentives, long-term incentives, equity awards, and deferred compensation plans.
• Support annual compensation planning, salary reviews, bonus funding, equity grants, retention initiatives, and succession planning activities.
• Develop executive compensation dashboards, reports, and analytics to support decision-making.
• Prepare analyses and materials for the Compensation Committee and Board of Directors, including disclosures and governance updates.

SESI Corporate, LLC is currently seeking a Executive Compensation Analyst to join our team in Houston, TX.

Executive Compensation

• Analyze and administer executive compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentives, long-term incentives, equity awards, and deferred compensation plans.
• Develop compensation recommendations and financial models to support executive pay decisions.
• Support annual compensation planning, salary reviews, bonus funding, equity grants, retention initiatives, and succession planning activities.

Incentive & Equity Administration

• Administer annual and long-term incentive plans, including payout calculations and performance validation.
• Manage equity-based compensation programs, including RSUs, PSUs and phantom units.
• Track vesting schedules, award modifications, ownership guidelines, and compliance requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, and external administrators to ensure accurate plan administration.

Governance & Compliance

• Prepare analyses, reports, and presentation materials for executive leadership, the Compensation Committee, and Board of Directors.
• Support executive compensation disclosures, governance requirements, audits, and regulatory compliance, including SEC-related requirements where applicable.
• Monitor executive compensation trends, governance practices, and market developments.

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop executive compensation dashboards, reports, and analytics.
• Provide data-driven insights that support strategic compensation decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive compensation experience, including executive compensation support.
• Experience with executive incentive plans, equity compensation, and compensation analytics.
• Experience supporting publicly traded companies, private equity-backed organizations, Compensation Committees, and/or executive leadership teams preferred.
• Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and analytical skills.
• Experience with compensation systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, MarketPay, Mercer WIN, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex compensation concepts to executive audiences.
