Geisinger Behavioral Health Center in Danville, PA seeks an experienced Chief Nursing Officer to join the Executive Leadership Team. You will partner with the CEO and hospital leaders to champion nursing excellence, elevate patient care, and drive workforce development in a state-of-the-art behavioral health hospital.

Qualifications

• Active RN License (PA or eligible for reciprocity).
• Proven nursing leadership at CNO/DON/ACNO level.
• Behavioral health inpatient experience required.
• BSN is required; MSN or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years RN experience; 3+ years of progressive nursing leadership.
• Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing strategy, clinical excellence, and operational performance.
• Develop, mentor, and support nursing leaders and staff.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulations.
• Drive workforce planning and staffing effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.
• Champion quality improvement and patient safety.
