Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a CMO-Specialty Care to lead the employed specialty physician and APP enterprise within BILH Medical Group Specialty Care. Qualifications

• MD/DO with current licensure in Massachusetts or eligible for licensure in MA.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of actual clinical practice and 5–7 years in senior clinical leadership in a complex health system.
• Experience bridging community hospital and academic medical centers; collaboration with hospital CMOs and faculty leadership is preferred.
• Familiarity with physician compensation models (wRVU-based), MGMA/AMGA benchmarking, and provider governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the BILHSC clinical enterprise, setting performance expectations and delegating authority to specialty care leaders.
• Ensure high quality, safety, patient experience, and outcomes measurement across specialty care practices.
• Collaborate with system quality initiatives and governing bodies to optimize care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, MA DPH).
• Maintain 0.25 clinical FTE, with active practice in a specialty aligned with BILHSC.
