Job summary

Gartner is seeking an Executive Partner (CIO Advisory) for State & Local Government Clients in the West region. You will serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs and senior IT leaders, delivering strategy, executive coaching, and customized program engagements.

You will manage a portfolio of government digital initiatives, partner with Gartner sales, and lead briefings, strategy sessions, and workshops—onsite or virtual—while advancing Gartner's advisory capabilities across the client base.

Qualifications

• Experience consulting or leading enterprise technology programs.
• Proven ability to drive digital transformation in government context.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management.
• Ability to craft and deliver strategic advisory engagements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 25+ SLG members and digital/tech priorities.
• Understand member challenges and translate them into Gartner-enabled solutions.
• Offer outside-in perspectives and innovate through executive sessions.
• Develop customized service plans aligned to member priorities.
• Conduct briefings, strategy sessions, workshops, and analyst visits.
• Collaborate with Gartner Sales to drive engagement and renewals.
