Job summary

Gartner is seeking an Executive Partner for CIO Advisory focused on State & Local Government Clients in the West. You will act as a trusted advisor to top IT leaders, define strategies, and deliver innovative solutions leveraging Gartner capabilities.

You will drive member engagement, collaborate with Sales, and lead briefings, workshops, and events—supporting growth and renewal across a national portfolio. This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and executive-level influence.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to engage CXOs and advise at the CIO/CxO level.
• Experience in sales and business development with executive stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 25+ State and Local Government CIO advisory members.
• Understand member priorities and co-create strategies leveraging Gartner capabilities.
• Lead strategy sessions, briefings, and workshops, virtual or onsite.
• Partner with Gartner Sales to maximize engagement and renewals.
• Present or facilitate at local Executive Partner events.
