Job summary

Gartner is seeking an Executive Partner to advise State and Local Government clients, guiding CIOs and IT leaders through digital transformation initiatives. You’ll collaborate with Gartner teams, create strategic service plans, and drive member engagement across a global network.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in consulting or CXO/CIO roles, with expertise in AI, BI, ML, cloud, and digital initiatives, plus a track record of leading large programs and delivering value to executive clients.

Qualifications

• Consulting and/or CxO/CIO roles with 15+ years of progressive technology exposure (AI, BI, ML, Digital Transformation, Big Data, Cloud, etc.).
• Exposure to large end-to-end transformative initiatives and leading programs.
• Strong understanding of digital/technology leader priorities and IT industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 25+ members consisting of digital/technology within State and Local Government (SLG) organizations.
• Understand members' priorities and challenges; help them find solutions leveraging Gartner capabilities.
• Challenge members with innovative approaches and provide outside perspective on strategies.
• Define and deliver innovative solutions by assessing priorities and developing a customized service plan.
• Conduct briefings, strategy sessions and workshops virtual and onsite, plus analyst visits, roundtables and webinars.
• Build strong partnerships with Gartner's Sales organization to ensure member engagement and renewal.
• Present or facilitate at local Exp events.
