Job summary

Heritage Landing GC in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a full-time Executive Chef to lead culinary operations in a fast-paced hospitality setting. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities include managing kitchen expenses, creating menus, directing procurement, and maintaining food quality and sanitation. You will supervise staff, recruit and train, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (AA) or two-three years of culinary experience, or equivalent.
• Experience creating themed menus and planning events.
• Strong leadership and staff development capabilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Manages all major Food and Beverage Kitchen operating expenses and margins.
• Creates theme menus, banquet concepts, and event ideas.
• Directs ordering, inventory, receiving and invoicing; equipment upkeep.
• Ensures highest standards in food quality and consistency.
• Monitors storage, temperature controls and health regulations.
• Interviews, hires, trains, assigns, and evaluates kitchen staff.
• Ensures sanitation programs and safe work practices.
• Oversees training and orientation for new associates.
• Monitors manpower and productivity; plans for volume and costs.
