Danbury Senior Living seeks an Executive Chef to lead our dining services, ensuring high-quality, nutritionally appropriate meals for residents in a healthcare setting. The role requires culinary leadership, menu planning, and strong cost-control skills.

The Executive Chef will oversee menu development, diet compliance, staff supervision, and cross-department coordination to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of dietary/dining supervision in healthcare/senior living.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct overall dining services operations.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary department standards.
• Determine food presentation and standardize service methods.
• Assist in planning regular and special diet menus as prescribed.
• Handle administrative tasks and reporting as required.
• Coordinate dining services with other departments.
• Develop staff rapport to ensure quality dining for residents.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Delegate authority and establish production lines for timely meals.
