Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations at Asbury Normandie Ridge in York, PA, directing chef managers and hourly staff to deliver high-quality dining experiences for residents across independent living and skilled nursing.

You will develop menus, control food cost, ensure safety standards, train staff, and maintain guest rapport while meeting production and service standards.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 4 years of culinary experience.
• At least 2 years in a management role preferred.
• Requires a culinary degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to multi-task and simplify the agenda for the team.
• Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession.
• Excellent oral, reading, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures culinary production connects to the Executional Framework.
• Ensures proper culinary standards for production, presentation, and service.
• Manages a culinary team to guarantee quality in final presentation.
• Train and manage culinary and kitchen staff in best practices.
• Coach employees and recognize performance outcomes.
• Plan and execute team meetings and daily huddles.
• Maintain staff records and performance data.
• Develop and maintain client and guest rapport for mutually beneficial relationships.
• Interact directly with guests daily.
• Communicate regional culinary and ingredient trends.
• Deliver food and labor targets and manage margins.
• Ensure efficient execution of all culinary products per daily menu.
• Maintain Aramark food quality and safety standards; comply with safety policies.
• Understand end-to-end supply chain and procurement processes.
