Job summary

Bonaventure Senior Living is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our dining services team across communities. You will develop menus that meet diverse dietary needs, ensure high food quality and presentation, and uphold health and safety standards while guiding the culinary staff.

This leadership role focuses on budgeting, scheduling, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for residents, with hands-off cooking and strong emphasis on service excellence and team development.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional dining experiences.
• Experience in or managing dining services.
• Experience with budgets.
• Food handlers license.
• Ability to organize and supervise dining service staff.
• English language required.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Crafting menus and developing standardized recipes and food production schedules.
• Overseeing kitchen and dining staff while managing budget and inventory.
• Leading and inspiring excellent customer service for our residents.
• Ensuring meals are served with an appetizing and attractive presentation.
• Creating and maintaining the schedule for the dining services team.
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining room.
