Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Director of Culinary Experience (Executive Chef) to lead daily kitchen operations and residents' dining experiences in our Chandler community. You will manage food procurement, menu development, budgeting, and a skilled dining services team to ensure exceptional service.

Applicants should have a culinary background, Serve Safe Manager certification, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive culinary excellence and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; culinary education preferred or equivalent experience.
• Serve Safe Manager certification with knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food codes.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on food preparation experience and 3+ years in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen and dining operations, staffing, and scheduling.
• Lead menu planning, events, and resident dining experiences within budgets.
• Maintain inventory, food quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop recipes, manage costs, and ensure resident and family satisfaction.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver exceptional service and themed events.
