Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Scottsdale, Arizona, seeks an experienced Director of Culinary Experience to lead the community dining program and elevate resident dining experiences. You will oversee menu development, procurement, cost control, and a team of dining services staff across BOH and FOH.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and compliance with health codes, with a focus on hospitality, resident satisfaction, and creative menu design tailored to residents’ preferences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary education preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Serve Safe Manager (Food Handler Certificate) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and staffing of the community kitchen and dining venues.
• Supervise all culinary services staff (BOH and FOH) including scheduling, performance reviews, hiring, and corrective action.
• Plan menus and supervise meal preparation and events; assist in back- and front-of-house operations as needed.
