McCormick is a leader in herbs, spices, seasonings, and condiments. We are seeking a Executive Chef/Senior Culinary Manager for our Technical Innovation Center in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Summary:

The Executive Chef/Senior Culinary Manager will develop culinary strategies and support the US Food Away from Home business, leading the culinary team to innovate and deliver new products, recipes, and content. Travel may be 25-50%.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead cross-functional projects providing culinary expertise, working with teams like PD, Sales, Marketing, and Content.
  2. Provide strategic leadership for the culinary team, representing McCormick’s product portfolio and driving growth.
  3. Implement best practices for culinary presentations, recipe development, and content creation, leveraging technology.
  4. Track food and flavor trends, creating prototypes based on insights.
  5. Manage and develop direct reports, setting performance goals and career development plans.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree or significant industry experience.
  • 10-12 years in culinary development, experience with national accounts and foodservice segments.
  • Experience managing teams and working cross-functionally.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
