Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group seeks an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across dining and catering for residents and guests. You will manage menu development, pricing strategies, food costs and inventory while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

You will recruit, coach and evaluate culinary staff, drive customer satisfaction, and partner with site leadership to ensure seamless dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of industry and culinary management experience.
• Proven leadership abilities and commitment to customer service.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Experience in menu development and pricing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Culinary labor, food and small ware financial management experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieve 100% resident satisfaction through plate presentation and taste.
• Establish presentation techniques and ensure quality standards.
• Hire, coach, train, inspire and direct culinary staff; maintain proper scheduling and reviews.
• Develop Sous Chef and Lead Cook for leadership duties.
• Direct food control, labor costs, menu engineering and standardization of recipe production.
• Ensure proper equipment operation and sanitation policies.
• Oversee catering events and provide culinary instruction or demonstrations.
• Promote positive relations with residents, families and guests.
• Serve as Manager on Duty as scheduled with site leadership.
