Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking an Experienced Executive Chef to lead the foodservice operations for patients, cafeteria, and dining rooms, including catering. You will implement health-conscious recipes, menus, and presentation while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Under the Nutritional Services Director, you will manage staff, oversee scheduling, and coordinate with clinical nutrition on menu planning, ensuring high-quality patient meals and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years' experience in Food Services Management.
• Serve Safe Certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct food preparation for patients, cafeteria, doctors’ dining room and special requests.
• Develops work standards, sanitation procedures, and personal hygiene requirements.
• Inspect prep areas, equipment and storage, ensure health regulations compliance.
• Supervises staff, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with Director and Nutrition Manager on menu planning.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
