Job summary

ISMIRA Agency actively recruits an Executive Chef for Scylla AG on European river cruise ships. You lead the onboard kitchen, ensuring high-quality meals, staff performance, and guest satisfaction.

The role is seasonal (March–November) with renewals each season, offering free food and accommodation, pension, health insurance, and onboard internet. Strong English is required, German a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years culinary experience in executive role.
• Strong leadership and team management.
• Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff.
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead professional preparation and presentation of meals on board according to menu cycle and Scylla standards.
• Collaborate with the Hotel Manager and department heads.
• Maintain hygiene and HACCP compliance across kitchen areas and storage.
• Train and develop kitchen crew; manage inventory and ordering.
