Job summary

NoMo SoHo, NYC, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations at the Crescent Hotels & Resorts managed NoMo SoHo property. You will drive menu concepting, quality, and guest experiences across all kitchen venues in a fast-paced, high-profile setting.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years leading culinary operations as an Executive Chef in hotels.
Strong background in commercial strategy and leadership.
Proven ability to develop menus that meet diverse guest tastes.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of the culinary department, menu concepting and design, and proper food handling.
Interview, hire, train, and evaluate culinary staff to foster improvement.
Set daily priorities and ensure kitchens are stocked with necessary tools and equipment.
Review banquet orders, monitor quality of products, and supervise staff performance.
Conduct regular kitchen walk-throughs and ongoing coaching.
Assist Catering in developing special menus and meet clients as requested.
Oversee training of new hires and maintain ongoing staff development.
