Job summary

MECCA Hospitality Recruitment represents a premier resort property seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary operation. You will manage kitchen teams, develop menus, and oversee purchasing, staffing, and financial performance to ensure exceptional guest experiences consistent with the resort’s standards.

Ideal candidates bring 10–12+ years in progressive culinary roles, with luxury hotel or resort experience.

Qualifications

10–12+ years of progressive culinary experience, including Executive Chef roles.
Experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
Proven ability to oversee multiple outlets and large-volume operations.
Strong menu development and recipe creation skills.
Proven leadership to coach, motivate, and develop culinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all kitchen operations with emphasis on quality, safety, and sanitation.
Develop creative menus that reflect authentic local experiences and exceptional service.
Manage food purchasing, inventory, specifications, and cost targets.
Oversee kitchen budgets and financial performance; monitor sales and costs.
Lead culinary operations across multiple outlets and high-volume events.
Collaborate with Purchasing and other departments for cost control.
Create staffing plans and schedules based on forecasts and budgets.
Recruit, train, and develop culinary staff; maintain accountability and teamwork.
Coordinate with hotel leadership to align culinary operations with property goals.
Customize culinary experiences to meet guest and client expectations.
