Job summary

The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, Los Angeles, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary team and drive profitability across outlets. You will oversee menu planning, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, scheduling, coaching, and discipline to maintain high quality and brand standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating food quality, storage, and inventory while developing strategic initiatives to boost revenue and market presence in the hotel and local market.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in a similar position.
• Culinary college degree preferred.
• CA Food Handling certifications, preferably Kitchen Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of all hotel features, services, and hours.
• Hire, train and motivate staff; enforce disciplinary procedures.
• Review daily activities, forecasts, and inventory; ensure quality and cost controls.
• Design and implement a marketing plan and develop monthly/holiday specials.
• Ensure kitchen complies with all local and national guidelines and safety standards.
