Restaurant Associates is seeking an Executive Chef for JPMorgan Chase in Newark, DE, guiding a premier corporate dining program including a café, licensed Starbucks, and a conference center. You will lead a hands-on culinary team, ensuring quality, innovation, and exceptional hospitality for high-profile events.

The role emphasizes menu planning, cost awareness, safety, and staff development, with a focus on delivering standout guest experiences in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Catering experience is required.
• Hands-on chef experience is a must.

Responsabilités

• Leads the successful execution of numerous high-end catering events.
• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Responsible for leading, training, and developing a team of 30 culinary professionals while maintaining operational standards, food safety, and consistency across all dining platforms.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards; completes daily production worksheets and waste logs; tastes meals to ensure quality.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, food safety and sanitation.
• Establishes and maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and work areas.
• Maintains inventory to stay within guidelines and ensures product availability when needed.
