Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee multiple dining venues and lead the food production team. You will create menus, develop recipes, and manage purchasing to align with budgeted guidelines.

You will enforce all policies and food-safety regulations while coordinating recruitment and retention of staff and leading regular production meetings to drive engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years’ experience in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local food safety regulations.
• Degree in Culinary Arts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple venues and food production staff.
• Create new recipes and ensure item quality.
• Build menus and order food and non-food items.
• Manage staff schedules to meet budgets.
• Enforce policies and food safety regulations.
• Coordinate recruitment and retention of food production staff.
