Job summary

Highland Springs by Erickson Senior Living in North Dallas, Texas, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead a dynamic, multi-venue dining program serving 600+ covers daily. This hands-on culinary leader will drive menu execution, mentor the culinary team, and optimize kitchen operations to deliver exceptional dining experiences with a focus on quality and hospitality.

The role requires at least 3 years as an Executive Chef, with fine dining experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Executive Chef experience.
• Fine dining experience a plus.
• Knowledge of ala carte and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation and food cost controls.
• Proficiency with PC software including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the culinary team to promote excellence, accountability and collaboration.
• Oversee daily culinary operations across multiple dining venues with emphasis on quality, consistency and food safety.
• Drive menu innovation and partner with leadership to deliver outstanding resident dining experiences.
• Ensure compliance with Health Department, HACCP and food safety standards and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.
• Manage food and labor costs through effective purchasing, inventory, scheduling and waste reduction.
• Maintain a visible presence in dining venues and engage with residents to continuously enhance the dining experience.
