Job summary

Rainforest Cafe in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in a high-volume, full-service environment. You will mentor a talented kitchen staff, maintain exceptional food quality, and uphold safety and operational standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in culinary management with at least 2 years as an Executive Chef in a high-volume setting, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Culinary Management experience.
• At least 2 years as an Executive Chef in a full‑service, high‑volume dining establishment.
• Strong knowledge and attention to detail on back of the house operations including staff supervision, inventory controls and cost.
• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead back-of-house operations in a high-volume kitchen, mentoring staff.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with a hands-on, 'Do Whatever It Takes' attitude.
• Manage labor costs and inventory to meet budgets.
• Oversee inventories and ordering of food and supplies.
• Maintain sanitation procedures per OSHA regulations.
