You will plan menus, train staff, manage inventory, uphold quality and cost controls, and lead initiatives to elevate guest satisfaction. This hands-on leadership position requires strong culinary expertise, high-volume experience, and a passion

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of culinary/kitchen management experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Hands-on chef experience.
• Knowledge of food trends, sanitation and cost controls.
• Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus per guidelines.
• Follows recipes, portions, and uses daily production worksheets.
• Trains kitchen staff on food prep, safety, sanitation.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage and work areas.
• Maintains inventory to stay within guidelines and ensure product availability.
• Decides on leftovers usage within guidelines and complies with health regs.
• Follows safety policies and participates in departmental meetings.
