Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Executive Chef for Well& by Durst – 151 in New York, NY. You will lead culinary operations, develop menus, and drive financial performance for premium events and ongoing service.

You’ll manage food safety, budgeting, inventory, and a high-performing team, partnering with leadership to deliver exceptional client experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years as Executive Chef in high-volume operations.
• Minimum five (5) years in culinary leadership at Executive Sous Chef level or equivalent.
• Experience with banquet, catering, or high-volume corporate hospitality.
• Proven ability to manage food and labor costs and achieve financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership across all food service and event operations.
• Develop seasonal menus aligned with client expectations and financial targets.
• Manage food costs, labor costs, purchasing, inventory, and waste.
• Lead staffing plans, scheduling, and labor productivity.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance standards.
• Build client relationships and support high-level events.
