The DAYTONA Hotel, Autograph Collection in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

You will set culinary standards, manage food safety, develop menus, and collaborate with hotel leadership on budgeting and profitability while nurturing a culture of excellence, innovation, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a senior culinary role with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen ops, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience with cost controls, inventory, and menu development.
• High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training preferred; Safe food handling certification.
• Fluency in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary excellence and ensure health standards and quality.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, pricing and beverages.
• Develop and mentor staff; uphold safety procedures.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership on F&B financial goals and cost controls.
• Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with high culinary standards and issue resolution.
• Own day-to-day kitchen operations, including ordering and inventory.
