Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking an hands-on Executive Chef for the Orlando area to lead kitchen operations and develop a strong culinary team. You’re responsible for delivering meals that meet nutritional needs while maintaining quality and cost controls.

Bring 3–5 years of progressive culinary management, strong leadership, and experience in high-volume foodservice. Healthcare experience is not required but preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years progressive culinary or kitchen management experience.
• Experience in high-volume foodservice; catering experience is a plus.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations with focus on flavor, quality, and presentation.
• Plan and execute menus, including modified diets, following established guidelines.
• Coach and train your team in cooking techniques, food safety, and service standards.
• Manage ordering, inventory, food costs, portions, and waste.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized kitchen and ensure audit readiness.
