Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking an Executive Chef to provide culinary leadership for a healthcare food service operation serving a 242-bed hospital with an average daily census of 125 patients. This role will oversee patient dining, retail food service, food quality, safety, and kitchen operations while maintaining a sanitary and efficient environment.

Competenze

• Associate degree or equivalent in Culinary Arts or hospitality.
• 3–5+ years of healthcare culinary leadership experience.
• Experience in high-volume institutional dining.
• Knowledge of patient dining programs and healthcare regulations.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead all culinary operations for patient dining, retail cafés, and catering.
• Ensure food quality, portion control, presentation, and safety standards.
• Develop menus supporting patient satisfaction and nutritional guidelines.
• Train and mentor culinary staff in food prep, safety, and equipment use.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, HACCP and regulations.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, and cost control to achieve budgets.
• Monitor production, waste, and labor utilization for efficiency.
• Maintain sanitation schedules for kitchen equipment and spaces.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to enhance patient dining experiences.
• Foster safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
