Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, LLC is seeking a Director of Food Services/Executive Chef to oversee daily food service operations in a senior living setting, ensuring menu development, quality meals, and compliance with health standards.

You will lead a diverse culinary team, manage budgets, schedule staff, and coordinate with Clinical and Environmental services to deliver nourishing dining experiences that enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE required and 1–3 years of dining leadership experience in senior living.
• CDM or CFSM or similar national certification for food service management and safety.
• Associate's degree in Culinary Services or Hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Food Services Department operations and direct the team to meet high standards of care and service.
• Complete staff schedules and coordinate staffing in line with policy and labor budgets.
• Manage diet and meal preferences, interview residents or families within 24–72 hours of admission and process diet changes.
• Maintain inventory of food, supplies, and equipment; purchase as needed.
• Control costs by staying within budget and using spend-down tools.

Education

High School Diploma or GED/HSE

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Certified Food Service Manager (CFSM)

Associate's degree in Culinary Services or Hospitality
