Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Director of Food Services, Executive Chef, to oversee daily dining operations and ensure compliant, nutritious meals for residents. You’ll lead a team, develop menus, monitor safety standards, and collaborate with Clinical and Environmental teams to maintain high care quality.

Responsibilities include scheduling, managing dietary changes, inventory, and controlling costs within budget.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE is required; additional education helps.
• 1–3 years of dining leadership experience in senior living.
• CDM or CFSM certification preferred; other national food service safety certs acceptable.
• Associate's degree in culinary or hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food services operations and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Complete staff schedules and manage staffing within budgets.
• Manage diet and meal preferences; interview residents or families within 24–72 hours of admission.
• Maintain inventory and procure supplies; ensure adequate stock levels.
• Control costs using the company spend-down sheet.
