Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a Dining Director/Executive Chef to lead our residential dining program. You will oversee menu planning, food preparation, budgeting, staffing, training, and kitchen operations to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years leading food service, dining, or kitchen operations.
• ServSafe certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Experience managing high-volume meal service and special events or catering.
• Strong menu planning and recipe development experience.
• Knowledge of food and labor cost controls, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, train, and develop team members.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
