Job summary

Iacofano’s Catering & Events is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our catering/banquet operations. This hands-on culinary leader will set the culinary direction, oversee kitchen operations, and ensure consistent quality and profitability across events.

The role combines creative menu development with disciplined operational leadership, building a high-performing team and shaping the future of our expanding catering operations.

Qualifications

• Culinary school graduate or equivalent professional culinary experience.
• 7–10 years of progressive kitchen leadership experience.
• Catering or banquet experience required.
• Proven experience managing food and labor budgets.
• Experience with P&L accountability and cost control.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop culinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work long shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead menu development and execution for catering events.
• Manage food and labor budgets; monitor P&L performance.
• Lead daily kitchen operations and develop culinary teams.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation compliance across operations.
• Collaborate with leadership on menu proposals, site visits, and custom catering requests.
• Drive continuous improvement in prep workflows and production processes.
