Job summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, seeks an Executive Chef for the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio. You will oversee purchasing, receiving, and producing all food, and directly supervise kitchen and stewarding staff.

You'll drive menu development, maintain health and safety standards, manage costs, and partner with the F&B director to deliver exceptional events while training and mentoring culinary teams.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of culinary experience in a banquet facility producing meals for large events.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to meet budgetary goals and manage costs.
• Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
• Creative with food presentations; maintain quality.
• Maintain local Health Codes and HACCP; ServeSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, receiving, and preparing all food items for events.
• Supervise kitchen and stewarding staff; manage costs and budgets.
• Develop menus and proposals for events; tastings for clients.
• Ensure health and safety standards and ServeSafe compliance.
• Coordinate with F&B Director on event costing and logistics.
• Train staff and maintain equipment and sanitation standards.
