What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and timing meet or exceed expectations.
- Hire, train, and mentor culinary staff, building a culture of professionalism and accountability.
- Design seasonal menus, incorporating current culinary trends and guest preferences.
- Manage inventory, food purchasing, and vendor relationships to support cost-effective operations.
- Monitor food and labor costs, ensuring financial performance aligns with goals.
- Uphold the highest standards for food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness.
- Step in as needed on the line or expo during busy service periods.
- Collaborate closely with front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless guest experiences.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader in a full-service or hotel restaurant.
- Proven success managing kitchen staff, driving performance, and reducing turnover.
- Strong understanding of food cost control, inventory management, and ordering systems.
- A passion for culinary creativity and menu innovation.
- Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
- Hands-on approach and willingness to support the team during peak periods.
