Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Culinary leader for The Pass in Union City, CA. This Executive Chef will be responsible for leading a team of culinarians in producting high quality, consistent, and appealing meals for a broad spectrum of customers in a unique environment.


What You'll Do

- Implements & coordinates the culinary function.
- Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
- Manages catering & retail areas.
- Customer & Client satisfaction.
- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
- Manages food & physical safety programs.

What You Bring

  • excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards
  • a strong culinary background and Culinary Degree or Certification with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train a culinary staff
  • experience in high volume food production
  • a focus on food safety/sanitation and physical safety
  • healthcare experience is a plus

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
