Team: 40 FTEs
Morrison Healthcare is seeking a dynamic Executive Chef to lead foodservice operations at a rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you'll oversee all kitchen operations, manage a talented team, and ensure exceptional food quality and safety in accordance with corporate standards and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regular and therapeutic menus following company guidelines
- Train kitchen staff on food preparation, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Manage kitchen inventory and ordering within budget to ensure product availability
- Maintain strict compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations
- Oversee cleaning and maintenance schedules for all kitchen equipment and spaces
- Support retail and catering programs, ensuring excellence in presentation and service
- Perform additional duties as required to support daily operations
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Strong knowledge of food trends, production standards, and cost controls
- High-volume and complex foodservice operations experience preferred
- ServSafe certification strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and kitchen management software
