Job summary

Watermark Retirement Communities in San Jose, CA, is seeking an experienced culinary leader to manage kitchen operations in a senior living environment. You will oversee meal preparation, menu planning, and dining services while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with health standards.

The ideal candidate has four years of progressive kitchen management, fine dining and catering experience, plus a two-year culinary arts degree and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• Two-year A.O.S. degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience.
• Four years progressive culinary/kitchen experience.
• Four years of management or supervisory experience.
• Fine dining experience.
• Catering experience.
• ServSafe certification.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office suite, email, and e-commerce based tools.

What you will need for this position:

• Two year A.O.S. Degree from an accredited culinary arts program or equivalent work experience considered
• Four years of progressive culinary/kitchen experience
• Four years of management or supervisory experience
• Fine dining experience
