Salt & Marrow, located at the Crowne Plaza North Augusta, is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and uphold the highest standards of food quality and guest satisfaction. Salt & Marrow is known for its distinctive blend of bold, locally inspired flavors and outstanding service, creating unforgettable dining experiences in a warm environment with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and execute menus for all meal periods and special events.
  • Control food costs, manage inventory, and maintain health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with management to meet financial goals and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, budgeting, and inventory control.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid training preferred.
