Job description

Role Overview

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an Executive Chef 2 to join our team at Bristol Myers Squibb in Devens, MA. The current food services include a Cafe open for Breakfast and Lunch, a Micro-Market, Office Coffee Services, and Catering Operations. The Executive Chef 2 is the lead culinarian responsible for overseeing daily food production for the operation.

Incentives: Predominantly a Monday-Friday schedule from 6 am to 3:30 pm, with some evenings and weekends.

What You'll Do:

  • Menu planning
  • Ordering
  • Inventory management
  • Food cost control
  • Hands-on cooking (50% of the time)
  • Catering production
  • Safety and sanitation compliance
  • Managing a team of 6 hourly employees (5 cooks and 1 utility)
  • Assuming duties of the GM in their absence

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience: 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience: 2 years in food or culinary services, including restaurants, catering, institutional services, or similar fields.
