Your Mission:

  • Lead with Excellence: Manage all aspects of the culinary department, including menu concepting, design, ensuring quality preparation, and proper food handling/storage according to standards.
  • Mentor and Inspire: Interview, hire, train, and evaluate culinary staff, fostering open communication and continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize and Execute: Set daily priorities, assign tasks, and ensure kitchens are well-stocked and equipped to meet business needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Review banquet orders, requisition supplies, ensure product quality, and monitor staff performance to uphold high standards.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Conduct regular kitchen walkthroughs, coaching staff to correct deficiencies and maintain quality and attention to detail.
  • Innovative Menu Development: Collaborate with the Catering department to develop special menus and meet with clients as needed.
  • Continuous Training: Oversee onboarding and ongoing training programs, and adjust staffing as necessary.

What You Bring:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years in culinary leadership within a fast-paced, diverse environment, with progressive responsibilities as an Executive Chef.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience leading high-volume kitchens and developing menus that appeal to diverse tastes.
  • Innovative Mindset: Curiosity about food trends and the ability to evaluate their relevance to enhance guest experience.
