Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-Time Position
  • Hours: M-F 8:30am-5:00pm, every other weekend and holiday required
  • Pay: $44,000-50,000/annually
Job Description
  • Ensures proper culinary standards and techniques are in place for preparation of food items, including production, presentation, and service standards.
  • Manages a culinary team, including chef managers, sous chefs and hourly staff, to ensure quality in final presentation of food.
  • Interact directly with residents and guests daily.
  • Maintain integrity of the standard food offer; responsible for always maintaining food quality and safety of all items.
  • Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years in fine dining atmosphere preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Culinary education or equivalent experience preferred
  • Specific business experience with older adults or in the retirement housing industry preferred.
