Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 to oversee culinary food services at the UC Health Medical Center- West Chester in West Chester, Ohio. What You'll Do

The Executive Chef will oversee the culinary operations and support 40 frontline staff for patient meals and retail operations. This is a high impact position that is responsible for enhancing our patient satisfaction and retail customer dining experience through culinary creativity, food presentation, and overall leadership presence at this outstanding account.

  • Have oversight of day-to-day operations;
  • Deliver high quality food service;
  • Achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • Develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • Develop strategic plans;
  • Create a positive environment; and
  • Ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

What You Bring

  • A work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • Experience in retail food and café food merchandising and marketing plans to drive enhanced transaction growth and customer capture rates;
  • Working knowledge with cash handling and cash management policies with accountability and accuracy through managing staff;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and proficiency in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years.

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
