Certified Executive Chef

The Bear’s Club is seeking a highly talented and creative Certified Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and be a visionary behind the club’s exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities include setting standards, developing team skills, maintaining quality, and ensuring member and guest satisfaction. The candidate should be honest, trustworthy, organized, and a hands-on leader who communicates effectively and fosters a positive work environment, all while upholding the highest standards of flavor, presentation, and service. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact our culinary program and contribute to its growth and success.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for culinary arts; stay current with trends and equipment; ability to create innovative menus and presentations.
  • Highly organized with effective operational management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; even-tempered, respectful, with proven staff development skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis in culinary operations.
  • Ability to create and maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Maintain a guest-focused approach and respond to feedback to elevate culinary offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold the club’s prestige.

Experience:

  • Experience in luxury dining, private clubs, or top-rated hotels.
  • Procurement, fiscal planning, and inventory management experience.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills in high-performance culinary teams.

Educational and Certification Qualifications:

  • Certified Executive Chef (CEC) through the American Culinary Federation (ACF) or Pro Chef II certification through the Culinary Institute of America.
  • Verifiable references; candidates will undergo background and drug screening.

Salary and Benefits:
