Job Description

The Executive Chef is a key management position responsible for leading and inspiring our hourly culinary staff. This role involves developing and executing innovative culinary solutions that cater to the diverse tastes and needs of our customers and clients.

  • Primarily Monday-Friday

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring culinary production aligns with the Executional Framework
  • Maintaining culinary standards for food preparation, presentation, and service
  • Managing a culinary team including chef managers and hourly staff
  • Training staff in food production techniques
  • Coaching, rewarding, and recognizing employees
  • Planning team meetings and daily huddles
  • Maintaining staff records and performance data
  • Building client and guest rapport
  • Monitoring culinary and ingredient trends
  • Achieving food and labor targets
  • Focusing on margin improvement and performance metrics
  • Ensuring food quality and safety standards are met
  • Managing waste, menus, recipes, and inventory
  • Understanding supply chain and procurement processes
  • Implementing the Food Framework
  • Accurately estimating food consumption
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring safety standards

Qualifications include:

  • At least 4 years of culinary experience
  • Management experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to multi-task and simplify team agendas
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills
