Job Summary

Lead the culinary vision at Indiana University - Athletics! As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, menu innovation, and staff development. You will maintain cost efficiency, uphold food safety standards, and create an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute innovative menus while maintaining food cost efficiency
  2. Oversee food preparation, quality control, and presentation standards
  3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  4. Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance performance and teamwork
  5. Manage inventory, vendor relations, and food purchasing
  6. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless dining experience
  7. Maintain financial accountability through cost control and budgeting
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience preferred
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen leadership role
  3. Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
  4. Experience with menu development, food costing, and inventory management
  5. Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a diverse culinary team
