The Resort Executive Chef oversees daily operations and coordination of multiple resort dining outlets, ensuring the fiscal success of their managing outlet and the overall Food and Beverage Department through teamwork, promotion, and retention of staff, as well as creative problem solving.

Responsibilities include:

1. Planning, directing, or supervising food preparation or cooking activities.
2. Supervising or coordinating activities of cooks or food preparation workers.
3. Planning, budgeting, or purchasing for food operations.
4. Determining food presentation.
5. Preparing and cooking foods, including special guest or event foods.
6. Collaborating on recipes or menu development considering seasonal ingredients and customer volume.
7. Checking food quality to meet standards.
8. Estimating supplies and costs.
9. Recruiting and hiring kitchen staff.
10. Monitoring sanitation practices and ensuring compliance.
11. Checking received product quality and quantity.
