Job Overview

Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the VP of Culinary Innovation & Development to set the culinary direction for the program established by our airline customer.
  2. Ensure adherence to the client strategy and vision.
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for client culinary communication.
  4. Manage day-to-day operations within the Culinary Center.
  5. Lead menu ideation, recipe development, workshops, and presentations.
  6. Ensure culinary creativity meets operational and financial goals.
  7. Collaborate closely with the Program Director and Commercial Director to meet and exceed client expectations.
  8. Partner with Sourcing and client Procurement to find new products and ingredients.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role.
  2. Expertise with global cuisine types.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  4. In-depth knowledge of culinary trends, menu development, and product sourcing.
  5. Ability to charismatically convey menu design concepts to various group sizes.
  6. Experience with budget management and menu costing.
  7. Ability to multi-task and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. Strong adherence to deadlines and client expectations.
  9. Knowledge of airline food and beverage operations is highly preferred.
  10. Travel (domestic and international) may be required up to 30% of the time.

Education & Experience:

  1. Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field.
  2. 5-10 years of experience in an Executive Chef or similar role.
  3. Financial and managerial experience.
