Executive Chef (Earn up to $100k/yr + Bonus Structure)

Gilt Bar is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Executive Chef ($80,000-$100,000/year + Bonus) to join our team.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment.
  • At least 3 years as an Executive Chef or in a senior kitchen leadership role.
  • Strong financial acumen, including COGS management and strategies to improve financial health.
  • Problem-solving skills in culinary and operational contexts.
  • Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Responsibilities & Duties
  • Ensure compliance with policies, including hiring, training, reviews, and documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with guests, staff, vendors, and leadership.
  • Create and publish staff schedules two weeks in advance, manage labor costs, and approve payroll.
  • Monitor and manage financials, including food costs, expenses, and revenue, and participate in financial reviews.
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote the restaurant's financial health.
  • Maintain food quality standards and vendor relations.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including opening/closing duties and inventory management.
  • Coordinate staff training and professional development.
  • Provide coaching and support to hourly staff, with flexibility to cover FOH roles.
